Get a screwdriver and pry the outer section of the cap off. It will break free eventually.Dont lose the spring just under the outer black cap. Underneath is a plastic socket which is on top of the brass plug . Pry the plastic plug off. Now use a large crescent spanner to remove the plug. Put it all back together by pressing the plug back ensuring the flats line up on the inner plastic socket. Put the spring back in the middle and push the outer plastic knob down. It may not need to be pushed down to remove anymore but that shouldnt be a problem
